RehearsalThe outline is the Dell and NVIDIA plan. The people on it are from the Enfuse
lab, not Barcelona, and the stand is placed so the sensed floor crosses the pavilion
row: a chosen position, not a survey.

Counting, and what it is worth
What the cameras say about it
Every figure above comes from lidar. Two cameras bolted to the two lidars
give a second opinion on each tracked object: person, phantom, or no opinion, where no
opinion is the ordinary answer outside a camera’s wedge. This is the check no
camera-only system can make on itself and no lidar-only system can make at all.
What the wire actually carries
Every field on a tracked object, read from the live stream. No name, no
face, no descriptor, no re-identification key — not withheld, absent.
Somebody who leaves and comes back is a new object with a new number, which is the
property that makes this safe and also the reason a naive count of arrivals would be
wrong.
